Nobue Kurosu Sevillanas Lesson

Nobue Kurosu started flamenco in 2003 and began study with Benito from 2007. She won a runner-up award at the 21st New Talent Show and won an higher award in 2016. She also won the top award at the Corboa Competition in Tokyo in 2017 and performed at the competition in 2018. She has appeared at Benito's production, Akashi and Shirube, and is an active flamenco performer

Yoko Matsui Sevillanas Lesson

Yuko Matsui started flamenco under tutelage of Satomi Kawasaki in 1998 and traveled to Europe and studied under various Spanish instructors. She started studying under Benito Garcia from 2011 and participated in many flamenco performances while instructing many other aspiring flamenco dancers.

Benito Garicia Sevillanas Lesson

Benito Garcia started flamenco at the age of 7 in his hometown Cordoba. He made his pro debut at 16 years old and joined the prestigious Yoko Komatsubara's dance company that year. Benito has performed extensively in both Spain and Japan, and opened his academy in Japan in 2007. He remains active and in high demand as performer, instructor and director.

M&C Trio

Spanish guitarist-vocalist Carlos and Mexican composer-bassist Mario, both based in Singapore, team up with Japanese drummer Hiro to bring you songs and rhythms from Spain and beyond. The trio performs extensively throughout Asia, and never fails to delight the crowd with their unique acoustic sounds.

Hiromi Oda

Cante

Hiromi Oda performs the cante flamenco (flamenco singing), one of the three main components of flamenco, along with toque (playing the guitar) and baile (dance). She has studied under various distinguished instructors and is currently active in Tokyo.

Fermin Querol

Guitarra

Fermin Querol started playing the guitar at the age of 16 in Salamanca. He moved to Madrid in 1999 and performed in many tablaos and peñas. He has also performed with many well-known artists. He toured the world with the flamenco group Alazan and Fermin began playing occasionally at El Flamenco in Tokyo in 2004 and finally made Tokyo his base from 2007.

Yoshimi Uchida

Baile

Yoshimi Uchida began flamenco in 1999. After performing solo, she moved to Spain, where she was tutored under many distinguished instructors. In 2017, she won first prize in Japan’s Granada Audition and went on to perform at Granada Festival in Spain. That led to her performing at Tokyo Flamenco Ballet in 2018. She is active, organizing her own flamenco events.

Benito Garcia

Benito Garcia started flamenco at the age of 7 in his hometown Cordoba. He made his pro debut at 16 years old and joined the prestigious Yoko Komatsubara's dance company that year. La Tuna

La Tuna is originally named for a group of university students in traditional university dress who play traditional instruments and sing serenades. The tradition originated in Spain and Portugal in the 13th century as a means of students to earn money or food. But this group performs to keep a tradition alive, for fun, to travel and to meet new people. Jorge Diaz, the leader of the group, has performed extensively at events and has appeared several times on TV, radio and on magazines.

Bailarin, coreografo y profesor de flamenco

Benito nace en Cordoba, Espana, en el ano 1977, en esta capital cursa sus estudios primarios y empieza a bailar flamenco a la temprana edad de 7 anos, comienza aqui a vivir su gran pasion, EL FLAMENCO, por lo decide acceder al Conservatorio de Danza Luis del Rio.

En el ano 1993 con tan solo 16 anos es elegido en un casting para formar parte del espectaculo de la compania Yoko Komatsubara Ballet Flamenco que se presenta en Madrid y Barcelona, despues del estreno y gran exito, asi como su destacar y bien hacer en la compania, es propuesto para trasladarse a Japon como bailarin oficial de dicha compania con la que viajara a New York y a Singapur entre otras ciudades. Entre idas y venidas tuvo tambien su participacion en la compania de Maria Pages.

Mediterranean Sundance

Mediterranean Sundance (this is group name) is a duo formed by two versatile musicians with very different influences that end up converging in their own and different styles. Based on flamenco and Latin rhythms, they can play jazz standard to the flamenco bulería, using Spanish instruments that date back over 600 years old.

El Plateao

Cante

Born in Seville, he started as a cantaor in Andalusia’s Tablao and Peña. He was a finalist in the competition “Naranjito de Triana.” El Plateao came to Japan in 2009 with El Flamenco and made Tokyo his base from November 2011. El Plateao is known for his powerful voice and has performed with many famous artists from around the world.

Kyoko Endo

Cante

Kyoko Endo started playing the piano at an early age, performing both classical and jazz music. She started flamenco dancing from 2010 and then branched out to cante (flamenco singing). She peforms actively as a cantaora.
